For over three decades, Fuad has invested his passion, energy and experience helping to guide many of the most respected consumer companies in the US and abroad, providing strategic advice, portfolio maximization and value creation solutions to public companies, private equity porfolios and family businesses.
Prior to founding Sawaya Partners in 2001, Fuad led JP Morgan’s Middle Market Consumer Products Group. He began his career at PaineWebber, Inc., spending 14 years first in the Mergers & Acquisitions department and later, heading up the Consumer Products Investment Banking Group. Fuad has established trusted relationships with global and domestic Consumer Products companies at the C-suite levels and positioned his team as a strategic resource for the Private Equity/LBO sponsor community in this segment. He has been known to create the “magic” for brands seeking a home with strategic owners having succeeded in helping achieve industry redefining multiples for brands such as Snapple Beverages, OxiClean, Method Products, Babyganics and Compeed, among many others.
Fuad is an active speaker at conferences in the Consumer Healthcare space in the U.S. and Europe. He is a marathoner and triathlete.
